Delhi HC rejects PIL seeking CBI probe in Robert Vadra land deals

New Delhi, Sep 16 (ANI): A Delhi High Court on Tuesday dismissed a PIL seeking a Central Bureau of Investigation probe in the land deals of Robert Vadra. A PIL was filed seeking probe into the sale of agriculture land to Vadra's companies. The petitioner was seeking a probe by the CBI under charges of cheating, forgery, criminal conspiracy and Prevention of Corruption Act. He claimed that this is a scam worth Rs 20,000 crore. The petitioner in the case said that the case will be taken to the Supreme Court for further hearing. Sep 16, 2014

Bangladesh to sensitize people about dangers of militancy

Dhaka, Sep 14 (ANI): Bangladeshi experts in Dhaka held a seminar to create awareness about the dangers of militancy in wake of recent threats from al-Qaeda signalling the formation of a militant group in the Indian subcontinent. The seminar “Jamaat’s involvement in militancy and militancy in the name of religion: Where does it end?” was organised by Ekattorer Ghatak Dalal Nirmul Committee, an anti-war criminal platform in Dhaka city.
