Fire engulfs coach of election special train near Allahabad

Allahabad, Oct 18 (ANI): A coach of an election special train returning from Maharashtra to Assam carrying election duty army and security officials caught fire near Allahabad. The bogie was separated from the engine and later the fire was put off. District Magistrate of Allahabad, VK Tiwari said that the fire was controlled by fire officials and ambulances are also called in to tackle the situation. He said that there is no casualty and enquiry will be conducted to know the cause of the fire. Oct 18, 2014

Politicos condemn Manjhi's 'chopping doctor's hands remark' even as JD (U) says statement misinterpr

New Delhi/ Patna, Oct 18 (ANI): Political leaders on Saturday condemned Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi's remark wherein he said that he will cop the hands of lax doctors playing with lives of poor patients. BJP leader Sambit Patra said that language used by Bihar CM is not acceptable and even undemocratic. Congress leader Rashid Alvi and PC Chacko said that such language is against the India's democratic structure and talks of mindset of Bihar CM. NCP leader Tariq Anwar said that if doctors are not doing their duty, there are laws to punish them but statements like these are unfortunate. RJD leader Manoj Jha said that the ideas are positive but the way of expressing the same is totally undemocratic. Manipur, Oct 17 (ANI): Asa Kazingmei, a young Tangkhul Naga fashion designer, has become a sought after name in the Indian fashion industry and is one of the most promising designers to look out for.
