Massive employment drive for youth takes place in Kashmir

Srinagar, Nov 19 (ANI): A recruitment drive restarted in Jammu and Kashmir and corporate firms held workshops to provide employment to youth as the region was recovering from the worst floods in a century. The three-day drive was launched on Monday in Kashmir's capital, Srinagar, by a special initiative called Udaan or 'flight' under the public-private partnership, National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) India. 'Udaan' has been working in the state for three years but had halted its efforts after floods struck the region in September.
