Markets in cities wear a festive look with sparkling lights and enthusiastic crowds rushing for last minute shopping. Eid shopping has gained momentum in the last week of Ramadan and shoppers throng to markets after Iftar and shop till late night. The markets remain open until sehr (pre-dawn time to begin fast).
