Kolkata/ New Delhi, July 7 (ANI): While the common Indian pinned hopes on the Modi government for tax exemption and women_s incentives, experts looked forward to the upcoming budget as a check on inflation and a boost to investment and infrastructure. The Union Budget will be presented by the Finance Minister, Arun Jaitley, on July 10. A resident of Kolkata, Manoj Dalal, hoped the budget would bring relief to women. 15 released Indian labourers return home from war torn Iraq

Navsari, July 06 (ANI): As many as 15 Indian workers, who were trapped in war torn Iraq, arrived in Navsari city of Gujarat on Sunday to join their relieved families. Earlier during the day, a group of 200 Indian workers stranded in Iraq arrived in New Delhi and 46 freed nurses, who were abducted by suspected Islamist militants in Iraq, also arrived home in Kochi on Saturday. A group of 78 workers belonging to Andhra Pradesh also reached India the same day. Indian workers stranded in Iraq return safely to New Delhi

New Delhi, July 4 (ANI): A group of Indian workers stranded in Iraq made a safe return to New Delhi on Friday with the help of the country_s embassy. The nationals flew back to India in the early hours of the day with the support of the embassy officials after they claimed that the companies they worked with refused to send them back. The workers heaved a sigh of relief and embraced their families waiting for them at the international airport in the national capital. They also said their friends and colleagues were still stuck in the turmoil-hit Iraq and the situation in Bagdhad was getting worse with each passing day. This is for the third time when the cut-off has touched the 100 per cent mark for admission in three colleges to their B.Sc (Computer Science) course. After much delay due to the row over the controversial four-year undergraduate programme (FYUP), admissions to academic session 2014-15 will begin on Wednesday much to the relief of over 2.7 lakh students who applied this year.
