The 40-year-old 'Little Master', will bring the curtain down on a glittering 24-year career when he plays his 200th Test match against West Indies at his home ground Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, on Thursday and then retires. With emotions running high in every part of the country, Tendulkar's fans celebrated in their own way to bid farewell to their cricket star. Comparing Tendulkar to God, a fan said that he knew Sachin even before he knew what cricket was. Children look up to him as role models and want to be Tendulkars of the coming decades. Cricket legends bid an emotional adieu to Sachin Tendulkar

Kolkata /Mumbai /Chandigarh/New Delhi, Nov 13 (ANI): Ahead of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar's final sporting appearance, former greats of the game bid farewell to the 'little master' and wished him well for his life ahead. Tendulkar, the highest run-scorer in international cricket, will retire after playing his 200th Test match against West Indies at his home ground, the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on November 14. Former cricketer and captain of the 1983 World Cup winning team, Kapil Dev, told mediapersons in New Delhi that Tendulkar should now concentrate on his life beyond the field and spend time with his family. Former skipper and Tendulkar's opening partner in One-Day Internationals, Sourav Ganguly said that the final match at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai would definitely be an emotional event.
