J and K residents throng markets to buy heaters to brave extreme winters in state

Srinagar, Nov 25 (ANI): Residents of the Jammu and Kashmir thronged markets to buy heaters and other equipments to keep themselves warm, as their houses left damp by the devastating floods that hit the state in September, are far colder this winter than in previous years. The main markets of Srinagar were full of people rushing to buying heaters. Hundreds of people were killed and thousands of villages were devastated by the worst flooding in decades that ravaged the Kashmir valley recently. Nov 25, 2014

New Delhi, Nov 24 (ANI): Lok Sabha was adjourned on Monday after political leaders offer condolences and observed silence to pay tribute to Murli Deora and others who lost their lives after the previous parliament session. Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan said addressed the session and paid tribute to party leaders who lost their lives and also those who died in the recent natural disasters faced by different stated in India. Political parties look forward to constructive Parliament winter session as they are set to take up

New Delhi, Nov 24 (ANI): As winter session of the Parliament commences on Monday, political parties look forward to a constructive session and are all set to take up varied issues. Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that the government is ready to discuss on any matter and they do not have conflicting attitude. Congress leader Manish Tewari talked about issues that the party is to take up in the session which includes black money among others. NCP leader Tariq Anwar hoped for a constructive session and said that party will coordinate but will debate on issues that won't be acceptable.
