Nagas send out a message of peace and unity in capital

New Delhi, Oct 25 (ANI): It was a jam-packed session at Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru stadium when thousands of people from different Naga tribes living in the capital city came together for the 'NSUD Nite 2014'- the 51st edition of the annual night cum fresher's meet of the Naga Students Union, Delhi. The annual event aims at fostering unity among the Nagas; besides promoting their cultural legacy. Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju addressed the event as the Chief Guest and called for unity among the northeastern people at large. The event witnessed a colorful array of performances including the unique warrior dance of the Sumi Naga community and a melodious performance by the Naga Christian Fellowship choir. Oct 25, 2014
