Poorva Express derails in WB, one injured

Howrah, Dec 14 (ANI): One person got injured after the New Delhi- bound Poorva Express derailed at Liluah shortly after leaving Howrah station on Sunday morning. According to reports, at least 11 bogies of the train got derailed. The 12381 UP Howrah-New Delhi Poorva Express was moving at a slow speed when it derailed, the officials said. The reason for the mishap was being examined. Train services on the route got affected after derailment. Officials added restoration work to resume train services on the route is going on. Two passenger trains collide near Patna, no casualty reported

New Delhi/ Barh, Dec 12 (ANI): Two passenger trains on Friday met collision near Patna at Barh railway station. The Anand Bihar-Guwahati Express and Bhojpur-Mokama shuttle train collided near Patna in Bihar. Two bogies have been derailed in the collision. However, no loss of life has been reported yet. Railway Board Railway Board Arunendra Kumar said that the incident occurred at 06:55 AM today and that rescue operations are in full swing.
