Traumatized 11-month-old goes solo parasailing on parents' whim, case registered in Kerala

Kerala, May 22 (ANI): A risky parasailing stunt forced upon a terrified 11-month-old infant, Niya Nizam, on Wednesday in Kannur district of Kerela landed the girl's parents in legal trouble. The toddler was made to set sail alone clinging desperately to an open parachute by her parents at an adventure sports event organized by an Aerosports Society in Muzhappilangad beach, leaving the onlookers aghast. District Magistrate, P Balakiran said legal action would be taken against those found responsible. The eyewitnesses and the onlookers felt that the parents and the organizers were insensitive to the child's age for sending her parasailing to a height of about 40 feet as the child howled in mortal fear.
