Bill Clinton criticises Black Lives Matter protesters at rally

Bill Clinton angrily told Black Lives Matter protesters that they are defending the people who kill the lives you say matter, on 7 April, prompting criticism from black voters whose support Hillary Clinton is counting on in her quest for the presidency. The former president spent more than 10 minutes facing down the protesters at a campaign rally in Philadelphia for his wife over the criticisms that a 1994 crime bill he approved while president led to a surge in the imprisonment of black people. Former UK sport anti-doping director not surprised by latest allegations

A British anti-doping consultant said on 3 April she is disappointed but not surprised at newspaper allegations concerning a London doctor. Michele Verroken, a former director of ethics and anti-doping at UK Sport, was reacting to a Sunday Times report that the doctor prescribed banned performance-enhancing drugs to leading sports people.
