New Delhi, Oct 11 (ANI): Founder and CEO of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and charmed him with his ideas during maiden visit to the country. Modi tweeted, "It was wonderful meeting @facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg. We discussed a wide range of issues". Earlier in the day, Zuckerberg, met Communications &IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad in New Delhi, pledging to help the government's Digital India initiative, an ambitious plan to connect a billion people to the internet. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg meets Ravi Shankar Prasad

New Delhi, Oct 10 (ANI): Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg on Friday met India's Information and Technology (IT) Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad in New Delhi. Both of them exchanged gifts during the meet. The Indian government is likely to discus how the social networking giant can help in promoting its campaigns on education and empowerment of the girl child, against female foeticide and the ambitious Ganga clean-up plan. Zuckerberg, is in India on a two-day visit to promote the internet.org app, that let people in underdeveloped areas to access basic online services.
