Sushil Modi stands firm on his remark on Yogi Adityanath

New Delhi, Sept 18 (ANI): Senior Bihar BJP leader and former deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi on Thursday remained firm on his remark on BJP leader Yogi Adityanath. Sushil Modi had reiterated the party line on "love jihad" but nuanced it - distancing the state unit from the Yogi Adityanath-style of rhetoric and promising to give "a good number" of tickets to Muslims in next year's Assembly elections. He said that if Yogi Adityanath spoke in Bihar like he did in UP, they would have contradicted him. Talking to mediapersons in Delhi, he said that if central leadership says anything that is the voice of the party but if any particular leader says anything that is not the voice of the party. He said that he doesn't support Yogi Adityanath's statement. Adityanath was recently seen in a video saying that Hindu boys should marry Muslim girls and later convert them. Sep 18, 2014
