New Delhi, Oct 19 (ANI): The resignation of 13 MP's from Andhra Pradesh has been rejected by the Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar. The Speaker did not find the resignations in the proper format. The Lok Sabha release said that Constitutional provisions and rules of procedure and conduct of business in Lok Sabha stipulate that resignation should be in a proper format and a member doing so shall not give any reason for the resignation. Hyderabad, Oct 13 (ANI): After Phailin cyclone unleashed its fury over the north coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh on Saturday, the state's Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy is to review the situation and has asked for full report on the same by Saturday evening, as confirmed by the state's Finance Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy. New Delhi, Oct 13 (ANI): Nearly eleven hours after hitting the coasts of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh with a wind speed of about 200 kilometers per hour, MeT department confirms that the intensity of cyclone Phailin has decreased but heavy rains will continue for the next 48 hours. Local media is reporting damage to property and to substantial flooding in coastal districts of Odisha and on National Highway Five. Several teams of the Indian Army, Air Force and Navy are on standby across the region to begin massive relief and rescue operations.
