Chandigarh, April 02 (ANI): Yoga guru Baba Ramdev hit at Congress calling it the most ‘corrupt’ party embroiled in multiple scams, while beating drums for main opposition Bharatiya Janata Party’s win in 2014 general elections on Wednesday in Chandigarh. Ramdev slammed Congress saying that it was responsible for coal scam and various other graft cases in the country. Meanwhile, Ramdev hailed BJP’s prime ministerial candidate saying that Narendra Modi was the only leader who could provide a stable and corruption free government and was hopeful that Akali Dal would again emerge as a winner in Punjab. Imphal, March 30 (ANI): All together 30 trainees are undergoing a one-month residential artisans' training programme on bamboo handicraft and furniture at the Naoremthong Laishram Khulem Leikai Community Hall in Imphal. The training programme is organized jointly by the Cane and Bamboo Technology Centre, Burnihat Assam and Lifeline Development Organisation and State Bamboo Mission, Manipur. The objective is to make the youth self-reliant and provide them a source of income. New Delhi, March 21 (ANI): Yoga guru Baba Ramdev, an avid supporter of BJP's prime ministerial candidate said on Friday that Narendra Modi could provide a stable and honest government to the country, although "various evil forces" were creating hurdles for him. Ramdev said that Congress was attempting to taint Modi's image in the eyes of public, which was a suicidal attempt. Speaking to the mediapersons in New Delhi, Ramdev said that the Congress has indirectly paved way for Modi government by abandoning minimum decorum and criticizing him. Endorsing the week long Yoga camps across country in a bid to mobilize millions of votes for Modi ahead of the general elections, Ramdev said that the event would conclude on March 23 and would make few decisions on his campaign against black money and corruption. Port Blair, March 19 (ANI): Indian authorities have instructed local sailors and fishermen in the Andaman and Nicobar islands to keep a sharp eye out and sound alarm if they see anything unusual in wake of the missing Malaysian Airlines aircraft, sailors said. Whilst India has put on hold its search for the missing aircraft at the request of the government in Kuala Lumpur, which wants to reassess the hunt for the vanished plane, fishermen and local boatmen said they had been instructed to exercise extra vigilance while out at sea. Balayogi, a senior sailor on one of the civilian boats in Port Blair, said they were instructed to offer all possible help if they spotted anyone in trouble.
