Cabinet approves treaty on transfer of sentenced prisoners between India, Nigeria

New Delhi, Nov 6 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi's cabinet gave its approval for signing a treaty on transfer of sentenced persons between India and Nigeria and also plans to work closely with Australia as a committed partner in international efforts to combat illicit drugs. The meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his official residence 7 RCR in New Delhi. The Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said that India and Nigeria have undergone an agreement that Indians sentenced to imprisonment in Nigeria can complete their punishment in their own country and vice-versa. Bobby to direct Pawan's Gabbar Singh 2

Director Bobby who directed Power is on a high! He will now direct Gabbar Singh Part 2 which stars Pawan Kalyan and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles. The movie is the original remake of Hindi hit movie Dabangg 2 starring Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha. The Telugu version was suppose to go on the floors before months, but Pawan Kalyan's involvement in politics has kept the sequel delayed. Gabbar Singh, is the milestone flick in Pawan Kalyan's career which made good collections at the box office, in 2012. The latest buzz about the Part 2 of the movie claims that, Power fame Bobby will direct the movie. Earlier, director Sampath Nandi was assigned for the project, but he is now out of it. Bobby who has already received good appreciations for his recent flick Power movie strarring Ravi Teja, will now take up the offer to direct Gabbar Singh 2 of Pawan Kalyan, the top actor of Tollywood. Indian Postal Banking has lots of scope due to connectivity, says Communications Minister

New Delhi, Oct 29 (ANI): Even with widespread retail banking in place, India's postal banking service has a large scope due to its connectivity, stressed Communications and IT Minister, Ravi Shankar Prasad on Wednesday. Prasad was inaugurating the Postal Savings Banks Forum in New Delhi, which was organized by World Savings and Retail Banking Institute (WSBI) jointly with the National Savings Organisation (Ministry of Finance) and the Department of Posts. The theme of the forum was "The Rising Force of Postal Banking in the Retail Banking Market". Prasad said that postal banking transcended the rich and poor barrier, the biggest asset being the network of post offices throughout the country.
