Key Indian Mujahideen terrorist arrested from Saharanpur

New Delhi, Sep 06 (ANI): A key terrorist of India Mujahideen, Ejaz Sheikh, was arrested by the Special Cell of Police in Saharanpur city of Uttar Pradesh. Special Commissioner of Special Cell, SN Srivastava said on Saturday that Sheikh was a key terrorist who used to provide logistics to other IM terrorists and was an expert in technology. He added that Sheikh was involved in German Bakery Blast, Jama Masjid blast and Varanasi blast as his key operations. Srivastava also said that Sheikh used to create forged documents and mail ids which were used by terrorists in seeking admissions, renting property and buying sim card other than sending threat mails. Tokyo, Sep 02 (ANI): Japan's experience with the Great Earthquake and the Sarin gas attack in Tokyo subway by terrorists has prompted the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to undertake a range of disaster prevention and management measures. In 2003, the Bureau of Social Welfare of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government formed the Tokyo DMAT - Disaster Medical Assistance Teams-to deal with any crisis. The DMAT teams specializes in on-site rapid response medical assistance to the disaster victims and are equipped with medical doctors with portable medical kit to provide on-the spot emergency medical treatment, before transporting victims to hospitals. Kupwara, Aug 30 (ANI): Militants taking shelter in the Kalaroos Forests of Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara District have reportedly killed an Indian Army soldier and injured another in an encounter on Saturday morning. The encounter with four to five militants is reportedly still on. Meanwhile, the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) of Rajasthan Police has reportedly cautioned and alerted the Border Security Force (BSF) to intensify patrolling in the border areas of the state, especially in Bikaner, Jodhpur and Barmer that adjoin Pakistan in the wake of reports that a group of terrorists may be attempting to cross into Indian Territory. Nariman House in Mumbai to reopen today six years after 26/11 Mumbai attacks

Mumbai, Aug 26 (ANI): Nariman House, a Jewish community centre which was one of the targets during the 26/11 Mumbai attacks in 2008 along with the Taj Mahal hotel and other famous Mumbai landmarks, is gearing up to open once again on Tuesday, nearly six years after the deadly attack when it was forced to shut down. Formally known as the Chabad House, the five-storey building will be reopened on Tuesday (August 26). Several people were held hostage for three days before the National Security Guards (NSG) commandos killed the militants in the siege as they undertook 'Operation Black Tornado.' Six of the occupants of Nariman House or Chabad House including Rabbi Gavriel Noach Holtzberg and his wife Rivka were killed when terrorists attacked the building. Aug 26, 2014
