As he gained the endorsement of the New England Police Benevolent Association on 10 December, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump defended his call to temporarily ban Muslims from the United States and pledged to punish police killers with death, if elected president. Afghanistan: Truck bomb wounds at least 12

A truck bomb targeting the outer perimeter of police headquarters in eastern Afghanistan early on 7 December wounded at least 12 people, including seven policemen, hospital officials said.
