Apple fanbois lined up at retail outlets across the country on Friday morning to get their hands on the newly launched Apple smartphones. The 16GB version of Apple iPhone 6 is available at Rs 53,500, while the 64GB version is priced at Rs 62,500. The 128GB version of the phone sells for Rs 71,500.The 16GB version of Apple iPhone 6 Plus is available at Rs 62,500, while the 64GB version is priced at Rs 71,500. Manipuri student attacked in Bangalore for not speaking in Kannada

Bangalore, Oct 15 (ANI): Miscreants attacked an engineering student from Manipur, T Michael Lamjathang Haokip, in Bangalore for not speaking in local language. Haokip, president of a students’ association, and his friends were attacked when they were eating food on October 14. On our way back to our home, on the roadside we were having a small discussion and refreshment. Then three locals came and since we were engaged in our discussion, they questioned us you are eating Karnataka food and you are living in Karnataka, you have to speak Kannada. Why don’t you speak Kannada? Or else get lost from this place. He alleged that none of the on-lookers came forward to help them. Haokip has sustained injuries on his head, back, shoulders, foot and ankle. Two of his friends have sustained minor injuries.
