Politicos react after Shiv Sena slams PM for not focussing on Pak border issues

Mumbai/Dhule/New Delhi, Oct 8 (ANI): Shiv Sena editorial mouthpiece, Saamna, took a jibe at the Prime Minister's 56 inch chest on Wednesday, in the backdrop of ceasefire violations by Pakistan along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir. The editorial piece in Saamna said that what was needed to protect the country was not a 56 inch chest but a will to do so. It further alleged that the PM Narendra Modi was not giving this issue the due attention and was instead busy attending rallies in Maharashtra ahead of the assembly polls. Congress leader Rashid Alvi said that the government should act tough on the border issues. NCP leader Majid Memon said that such personal remarks are common in the run up to elections and should be avoided. Oct 8, 2014
