Lok Sabha Speaker rejects resignation of 13 Andhra MP's

New Delhi, Oct 19 (ANI): The resignation of 13 MP's from Andhra Pradesh has been rejected by the Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar. The Speaker did not find the resignations in the proper format. The Lok Sabha release said that Constitutional provisions and rules of procedure and conduct of business in Lok Sabha stipulate that resignation should be in a proper format and a member doing so shall not give any reason for the resignation. Andhra Pradesh: CM reviewed Phailin Cyclone, not much causality, says FM

Hyderabad, Oct 13 (ANI): After Phailin cyclone unleashed its fury over the north coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh on Saturday, the state's Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy is to review the situation and has asked for full report on the same by Saturday evening, as confirmed by the state's Finance Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy. Reddy further confirmed that there are very less causalities in the case and there is loss in the agriculture sector mainly as many horticulture gardens were destroyed during the cyclone.
