Alia and Varun promote _Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania_

Mumbai, July 4 (ANI): The star cast and crew of a Bollywood romcom gathered in Mumbai at an event on Thursday ,to promote the debut film _Humpty Sharma ki Dulhaniya_ of their young director, Shashank Khaitan. The film is about a young and jovial girl, Kavya Pratap Singh from Ambala who visits Delhi for her trousseau shopping, where she happens to meet a carefree lad, Humpy Sharma. Varun spoke to media persons about the mature role played by television star, Siddharth Shukla, who is acting in his first Bollywood movie. The film is produced by well-known director and producer, Karan Johar and is scheduled to be released on 11th July 2014.

ISRO successfully launches PSLV-C-23 in presence of PM Modi

Sriharikota, June 30 (ANI): ISRO's PSLV-C-23 rocket carrying five foreign satellites lifted off from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh on Monday. The satellite launch carrying five satellites: French earth-observation Spot-7 satellite, Aisat from Germany, NLS7-1 and NLS7-2 from Canada, and Velox-1 of Singapore, was witnessed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Prime Minister Modi arrived in Sriharikota on Sunday and met ISRO scientists ahead of witnessing the historical launch. Till date, the ISRO has launched 35 satellites of foreign countries.

New Delhi, June 29 (ANI): The 24-hour countdown for PSLV-C23 Mission has begun at Satish Dhawan Space Centre at Sriharikota on Sunday. The mission began at 8:52 am on Saturday with a delay of 3 minutes from the proposed time due to the high chances of space debris getting in the way of the launch vehicle. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will witness the launch of PSLV-C23 rocket on June 30, as it will carry five foreign satellites into the space. Meanwhile, security in Sriharikota and Chennai is heightened ahead of PM's visit.
