Reactions flow on Pentagon report saying Pak doing proxy war against India

New Delhi, Nov 05 (ANI): The Pentagon Report submitted in the US states that Pakistan is using proxy wars to counter Indian Army has drawn reactions. Congress leader Rashid Alvi said that this is a well known fact that Pakistan cannot fight a direct war with India which is why it is using unfair means to counter the Army. BJP leader GVL Narasimha Rao said that Pakistan will lose the support of any other country if it continues to encourage militant activities in the country. Former Foreign Secretary of India Shyam Saran said that the report has not declared anything new. Meanwhile, Defence Expert Major General (Retd) SR Sinho said that the world has started to realize threats posed by Pakistan.

Politicos react as Indian fishermen get death penalty in SL

New Delhi, Nov 05 (ANI): Political leaders reacted on Wednesday after Sri Lankan Court gave death penalty as punishment to five Indian fishermen. BJP leader Sambit Patra said that the government of India is taking all necessary steps to rescue the Indian fishermen and very soon people will hear good news. BJP leader GVL Narasimha Rao said that the Indian government has assured all kind of support in the case. Meanwhile, DMK leader TKS Elangovan said that the government should take responsible steps to rescue the innocent fishermen and if they are guilty of any offence they should be tried in the Indian Court.

Politicos react after GK Vasan quit Congress

New Delhi/ Chennai, Nov 03 (ANI): Political leaders reacted on Monday after Former Union Minister and Congress leader GK Vasan quit the party. Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit said that in times when a political party is not in power its leaders are required to put in more hard work but leaders who quit are weak at character. President of Congress in Tamil Nadu EVK Elangovan said that the party will not be affected if such leaders leave. CPI leader D Raja said that Vasan quitting Congress will affect Congress in a big way. BJP leader GVL Narasimha Rao said that Congress party is facing a turmoil due to which nobody wants to stay in it.

Delhi Elections: Reports of BJP wanting elections, LG calls all party meet

New Delhi, Nov 3 (ANI): In the latest development in events regarding government formation in Delhi the Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung has called for an all party meet to decide the further course of action. Following this, reportedly the BJP has also asked the LG that it is ready to go for polls in the capital city. BJP leader Parvesh Verma said that the party will tell its stand after the meeting with LG. BJP leader RP Singh said that BJP is ready for polls. BJP leader GVL Narasimha Rao said that the party is preparing for polls but no final decision has been taken yet. Meanwhile, opposition parties condemned BJP for playing politics over polls. Congress leaders JP Aggarwal and Abhishek Manu Singhvi said that BJP is playing hide and seek with the people of Delhi.
