Cameroon independence protests continue over use of French

Exclusive IBTimesUK Footage from Bamenda, Cameroon, appears to show the continued protests against disenfranchisement and failures to introduce self-determination measures. Security forces are seen firing automatic rifles into the air in an apparent attempt to disperse demonstrators whilst people flee screaming and in panic. Protests started in October, when a group of English-speaking lawyers took to the streets to protest against the use of French in courts and the lack of English versions of some legal acts and codes.
