Politicos demand Health Minister's resignation over sterilisation camp negligence case

Raipur, Nov 13 (ANI): Political leaders on Thursday demanded resignation of Chhattisgarh Health Minister Amar Agarwal after more than a dozen women died at a mass sterilisation camp. The leaders also demanded quick judicial inquiry in the case. Congress leader Shobha Ojha, said a proper investigation should be conducted into the matter. Meanwhile, NCP leader Majeed Memon, seconded Ojha and also demanded thorough action in the case. He also questioned on the intensity of punishment for the violators of Compulsory Voting Bill and asked if the state government will put eight crore voters in jail or impose fines on them on violation. Congress leaders Arjun Modhwadia and Rashid Alvi supported the statement and said that the same needs to be decided first by the state government. New Delhi, Nov 10 (ANI): The SandP BSE Sensex and the Nifty rallied over 100 points in trade on Monday, led by gains in ITC, HDFC, Sun Pharma, Axis BankBSE -0.90 % and Dr Reddy's Laboratories. However, it failed to maintain this level and declined afterwards to 27,818.23, showing a loss of 55.36 points or 0.2 per cent at 27,813.27 at 11.31 a.m. local time. Market Expert Akash Jindal said that sensex may cross 30,000 level as India is being seen as an attractive destination by the international investors. He said that India is more attractive for international investors than Brazil, Russia and China or other emerging market.
