Gurgaon, Nov 3 (ANI): The star cast of Ketan Mehta's forthcoming period drama 'Rang Rasiya', Randeep Hooda and Nandana Sen pledged to donate their eyes at Mahindru Foundation's eye donation campaign held in Gurgaon to raise awareness as well as funds for eye donations. Speaking at the event both the actors urged people to be a part of this noble cause and donate their eyes. Half marathon in Visakhapatnam celebrates spirit of people

Visakhapatnam, Nov 02 (ANI): Thousands of people converged in port city of Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday (November 02) and took part in half marathon organised to salute the spirit of people who showed strength during cyclone Hudhud. Cyclone Hudhud had slammed into the coast of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha last month, killing 41 people and tearing down tens of thousands of mud-and-thatch homes. Meanwhile, the half-marathon, organised by the Indian navy, celebrated the courage of people who rose above the storm and returned to normal lives. Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Naval Command, Vice Admiral Satish Soni, said that the half marathon marked the spirit of Visakhapatnam, known to locals as Vizag. The funds generated from the run will be used for rehabilitation work and a part of it will also go to an orphanage. The marathon was categorized under 20 km run, 10 km run and five km walk. Mann Ki Baat: PM Modi addresses nation via AIR

New Delhi, Nov 2 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday addressed the nation on All India Radio. The programme, which is Modi's second address on radio, named Mann Ki Baat was aired from 11 am. Modi touched upon a range of issues including the cleanliness drive and the black money. PM Modi in his address said, "as far as black money is concerned, trust me that we will work to bring every single rupee back." "I will leave no stone unturned to bring back black money," he added. Talking about the 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' he said that more and more people are becoming conscious about the importance of cleanliness. He also informed that his government is trying to make Kendriya Vidyalayas and some government institutions disable friendly. A fund is being allocated for that.
