Kashmir should vote against dynasty politics: Amit Shah

Ramban, Nov 20 (ANI): BJP Chief Amit Shah reviewed the poll preparations in Jammu and Kashmir and urged people to vote against dynasty politics to maintain the valley's integrity. Shah hit out at the opposition, Congress party and its ally in Jammu and Kashmir, National Conference (NC), for "lack of development" in the valley in the past six decades. The BJP president also demanded an enquiry into utilization of funds in the state. While addressing a gathering on Thursday in Ramban district in support of the party candidate, Neelam Langeh, Shah claimed that only the BJP was capable of bring about the complete integration of Jammu and Kashmir with the rest of India. He urged the people to help the party achieve its 'mission 44+' in the state. Shah said that if the people of the state want development, good governance and employment, they must vote for BJP. Black money has pernicious impact on Indian economy: President

New Delhi, Nov 18 (ANI): President Pranab Mukherjee, said that unaccounted money on which tax is not paid has a pernicious impact on economy. Prime Minsiter Narendra Modi had promised his government would change laws or enact new measures to bring back such funds. On taking office, he appointed a panel to investigate the matter. President attends religious ceremony in Mathura

Mathura, Nov 16 (ANI): President Pranab Mukherjee, on Sunday attended a religious ceremony at an under-construction temple dedicated to Lord Krishna in holy town of Vrindavan in Uttar Pradesh. The 'Chandrodaya' temple, which will showcase early life of Lord Krishna, will be an architectural marvel. The foundation stone for the temple was laid on March 16 this year. President Mukherjee said India is one of the oldest and culturally rich civilizations in the world. Reportedly, the temple project is expected to get over in next five years and funds have been collected from various corporate houses and devotees of Lord Krishna. Meanwhile, Mukherjee also added that there could be no better way of doing this than spreading the Bhagvad Gita's message of universal love and humanity. CPI (M) to protest over squeezing of MGNREGA

Patna, Nov 16 (ANI): Communist Party of India-Marxist CPI (M), on Sunday said that it would launch a nationwide protest against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led central government for squeezing Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act MGNREGA, which provides jobs for 50 million households. CPI-M general secretary, Prakash Karat, while addressing a news briefing in Patna, said the scheme was important for the poor. Karat said that MGNREGA benefited India's northeastern state of Tripura but if the funds were cut, 50 percent people would not have any work.
