Transport secretary Chris Grayling calls rail strikes ‘not right, and not fair’

The latest strike by Southern train drivers is under way, the first of six day-long stoppages planned in January. Southern said it ran a handful of early trains from Brighton to London. Thousands marched in Mexico City against gasoline price hikes despite Mexicos President Enrique Pena Nietos promises to contain the effects. In response, Pena Nieto has announced that his government, businesses and union leaders are pledging to keep the price of staple goods stable.
