Director Gunasekhar’s dream project Rudramadevi, which has Anusha in the lead has finally completed shooting after two years of being on floor. Director Gunasekhar said that he was delighted that they've completed the project on time. He also added that they plan to release it in december. It is currently under post production stage which includes some 3d works. The periodic drama is the story of a fierce woman ruler of Kakatiya dynasty. Anushka is playing the titular role of 13 century Kakatiya queen Rudramadevi. She learnt sword fighting and horse riding for the role.
