Organiser say World Economic Forum to reignite global interest in India

New Delhi/ Kolkata, Nov 04 (ANI): Indian edition of the World Economic Forum set to begin on Tuesday has generated a buzz among international investors and businesses about the country under the stewardship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi who has promised to ease rules to attract investments into the economy, organisers say. The India Economic Summit is being organised by World Economic Forum, in partnership with the leading industry body the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in New Delhi from 4-6 November. Speaking ahead of the summit, Chandrajit Banerjee, one of the organiser and Director General of the CII, said that the current edition would help not only India to attract investment but would also help forge an understanding of the global perspective on India. Vietnam's Prime Minister invites Indian business leaders to invest in Vietnam

New delhi, Oct 28 (ANI): Vietnam's Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung invited Indian business leaders to invest in his country's infrastructure projects. Dung addressed a seminar hosted by India's leading industry bodies such as the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in New Delhi. Dung hoped that the investors would enjoy the mutual benefits in Vietnam and bolster bilateral trade between the two countries. Sri Lankan Navy Chief receives Guard of Honour

New Delhi, Oct 27 (ANI): The Navy Chief of Sri Lanka Vice Admiral Jayantha Perera on Monday received the Guard of Honour at South Block in New Delhi. Perera also met Indian Navy Chief Admiral RK Dhowan. On being asked about Chinese submarines docked in Sri Lanka, Perera said that all investors are purely on commercial basis and there is no chance of staking security of any other country, especially India. Admiral RK Dhowan said Perera visit will strengthen the bridges of friendship between SL and India.
