New Delhi, June 28 (ANI): A three-storey building collapsed in Inderlok_s Tulsinagar area in New Delhi on Saturday. While eight people have been pulled out from the debris, rescue operation is on to save others feared trapped. Three fire-brigades and an ambulance have reached the spot. N Chandrababu Naidu to visit GAIL blast site with Petroleum Minister

New Delhi/ Andhra Pradesh, June 27 (ANI): After at least 14 people were were burnt to death and several others were injured in a huge gas pipeline blast in the Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, state Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu ordered probe in the case. Cutting short his New Delhi trip, Naidu is rushing to East Godavari to reach the accident spot. Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan is also expected to accompany Naidu to the accident site. He also constituted a committee for the investigation. At least 12 killed in blast at GAIL pipeline in Andhra Pradesh

Andhra Pradesh, June 27 (ANI): At least 12 people were killed and 18 others injured after an explosion at a gas pipeline at the site of the state-owned Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) in Andhra Pradesh. The blast took place at 5:30 AM due to a gas leak in a pipeline near a refinery at Nagaram, around 560 km from Hyderabad. A massive fire broke out after the blast. Eight fire engines were rushed to the spot and the fire has been brought under control, officials said. The gas supply line has been cut off. Meanwhile, Prime Minister expressed condolences and tweeted, "My thoughts with the families of those who lost their lives in the GAIL Pipeline fire in AP. Prayers with the injured." He also said, "I have spoken to the Petroleum Minister, Cabinet Secretary and GAIL Chairman and asked them to ensure immediate relief at the accident site."According to official sources, those who suffered burns are being shifted to Amalapuram and Kakinada hospitals. Around 2.15 a.m, 12 coaches of Delhi-Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express train derailed at Golden Gunj area near Chapra district in Bihar on Wednesday, which killed four and injured eight others.
