Bali tourist boat explosion kills at least one and injures 13

One person died and at least 13 were injured when a tourist boat exploded shortly after it set sail off the coast of Bali, Indonesia. The boat carrying around 35 passengers, including British citizens, was travelling to the Gili Islands. The dead person is thought to be German. It is unclear what caused the explosion but officials have been quick to rule out a bomb. Sep 15, 2016

Ryan Lochte protesters rush his live debut on Dancing with the Stars

Security guards tackled two men who rushed the stage at the live premiere of Dancing With the Stars on 12 September and interrupted US Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochtes performance. Protesters also chanted in the crowd over an incident at the Rio Olympics 2016, after the six-times Olympic gold medal winner was charged by Brazilian police for making a fake robbery report. Lochte and three other US swimmers had claimed to have been robbed at gunpoint. Sep 13, 2016
