Mumbai, Nov 29 (ANI): As Goa police is on a search for the Tehelka sexual assault case accused Tarun Tejpal who is allegedly absconding from his Delhi residence, Former IPS Officer YP Singh said that the police is totally faulted in giving so much of time for Tejpal to abscond. He said that police could have arrested the accused without any delay or warrant and later issued a non-bailable warrant. Singh said that police have created enough loop holes in the case. Goa Police on search for Tarun Tejpal

New Delhi, Nov 29 (ANI): Tehelka sexual assault case accused Tarun Tejpal is nowhere to be found as Goa police reached his residence in Delhi on Friday. According to police sources, Tejpal's family is not cooperating with the Goa police and Tejpal's wife Geetan Batra has refused to reveal the whereabouts of her husband. A Seven member committee, comprising of investigating officers in the case left Tejpal's residence after 90 minutes of their arrival and are most probably looking at other possible locations where he could be found. The Goa Police late Thursday obtained a non-bailable warrant from a court against the accused journalist. Tejpal failed to meet his 3:00 PM deadline for Thursday to appear before them and thereafter appealed for time extension for the same, which was rejected by the investigating officers. Nov 29, 2013
