New Delhi, Feb 04 (ANI): Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, hosted dinner for participants of BlackRock India Investor Summit and said his priority was to establish global benchmarks in areas like governance, transparency and taxation. Interacting with them, Modi said that the priority of his government was growth and jobs. The Prime Minister said there was raising interest in India, and "we have to accept that responsibility." The Prime Minister said he believes in a fair, predictable and consistent tax system, and in economic policies that will drive growth. Twenty one major global investors participated in the India Investor Summit earlier on Tuesday. The advertisement takes a dig at Kejriwal over alleged black money funding to his party. New Delhi, Feb 03 (ANI): Amid accusations of the party receiving funds from fake companies, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has demanded a Supreme Court monitored Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe funding of all three major parties in Delhi polls. Party Chief Arvind Kejriwal tweeted, "5 AAP leaders will go to SC today at 10.30 am to submit an application for an SIT probe into funding of BJP, Cong n AAP."AAP leader Ashutosh further tweeted, "AAP will write letters to BJP and Congress presidents requesting to cooperate in SIT probe about their fundings for clean politics. Let me ask will Amit Shah and Sonia Gandhi accept AAP's proposal of SIT PROBE ? If yes then they should announce today!"The party's demand come a day after an activists group calling themselves AVAM (AAP Volunteer Action Manch), alleged that last year the party received 50 lakhs through four bogus companies that were fronts for money-laundering. BJP alleges AAP accepts black money as funds

New Delhi, Feb 03 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party questioned the source of Aam Aadmi Party's funding, alleging that AAP accepted black money, ahead of Delhi polls. The BJP alleged that shell companies were created to transfer rupees 20 million to the AAP on April 05, 2014, while official records pointed that these companies didn't make any profit and had common directors. The BJP further added that AAP circumvented Indian laws to accept donation from foreign company. But the party was silent on initiation of probe against the AAP. Meanwhile, AAP leader Yogendra Yadav asked the central government to initiate investigation into allegations. Thousands of school children take part in Terry Fox Fundraiser in Mumbai to fight cancer

Mumbai, Feb 01 (ANI): Around 10,000 school children took part in the 17th edition of Terry Fox Run on Sunday in Mumbai, to raise money to fight cancer. The annual charity event is organised in various cities commemorating the Canadian cancer activist Terry Fox, a cancer patient, who ran across Canada to raise money to fund research on cancer. Meanwhile, convenor of Terry Fox (India) Committee, Gul Kripalani appreciated the increased participation of people in the event over the years.
