New Delhi, Sep 10 (ANI): After the fast track court ion Delhi convicted the Delhi gang-rape accused with rape and murder, Former Home Secretary RK Singh said on Tuesday that the accused should be given death penalty and that such cases should be investigated in shorter duration of time and with full transparency. Delhi gang-rape: Four accused held guilty, sentencing tomorrow

New Delhi, Sept 10 (ANI): A fast track court on Tuesday found all the four accused guilty in the 2012 December 16 Delhi gang-rape case. The court holds Vinay Sharma, Akshay Thakur, Pawan and Mukesh guilty of 13 offences including gang-rape, unnatural offence, murder, dacoity, conspiracy, kidnapping and destruction of evidence. The court will pronounce the quantum of punishment tomorrow, at around 11 am. Of the total six accused, the prime conspirator Ram Singh had earlier this year killed himself in jail, while a minor accused was recently sentenced to three years in a special home by the Juvenile Justice Board. Parents of Delhi gangrape victim firm on death sentence for accused

New Delhi, Sep 10 (ANI): Parents of the 16 December Delhi gangrape victim are firm on their demand of death sentence for the accused, hours before a fast track court is set to pronounce its verdict in the case that sparked nationwide fury and forced the government to overhaul women safety laws. Father of the victim wanted the judgement to act as a deterrent in future. Last month, the juvenile accused in the case was sentenced to three years in juvenile detention.
