Explosion at Gulf Oil Corporation factory in Hyderabad kills two

Hyderabad, Feb 24 (ANI): Two people died and at least 13 were injured after an explosion at a factory belonging to Gulf Oil Corporation Limited in Hyderabad. Reportedly, this was the fourth blast in the factory in the last 12 years. Factory workers and residents of the surrounding areas also gathered outside the factory and held a protest. Telangana home minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy also visited the spot. Fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the injured were immediately taken to a hospital. Few people are said to be critical as they received extensive burn injuries. Feb 24, 2015

New Delhi/ Patna, Feb 20 (ANI): Political leaders on Friday react as Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi is to face floor test in Bihar Assembly against JD (U) senior leader Nitish Kumar. JD (U) leader KC Tyagi blames BJP for the political crisis in Bihar and said that Nitish Kumar will prove majority. Party leader Ajay Alok also accused BJP for the situation in the state. RJD leader Manoj Jha also accused the BJP and said that the JD (U) will definitely come to power. Congress leader Premchand Mishra said that the party stands with Nitish Kumar and that BJP is intervening in the internal matters of Bihar. Meanwhile, JD (U) leader Ajay Alok accused the BJP of orchestrating the crisis in Bihar. CPI leader CPI leader Atul Anjan also expressed similar sentiments. Politicos condemn attack on CPI leader Govind Pansare, wife

New Delhi, Feb 17 (ANI): Political leaders cutting across party lines on Tuesday condemned the attack on senior Communist leader Govind Pansare and his wife Uma. Leaders of various political asked Maharashtra government to ensure that the culprits are arrested and an in-depth probe is held. The couple was seriously injured after unknown men opened fire at them in Kolhapur on Monday. According reports, the assailants fired gunshots at the couple at around 8 a.m. when they were out for a morning walk. The assailants, who fired at least four rounds from close range at the couple, fled the scene after the incident. The Maharashtra Police have launched a massive manhunt to nab the assailants Meanwhile, Govind Pansare is said to be recovering well to medical care but his condition is still critical.
