Shiv Sena leader can be penalized for force-feeding fasting Muslim: Lawyer

New Delhi, July 24 (ANI): An advocate of Supreme Court on Thursday said that the Shiv Sena leader, who force-fed a fasting Muslim, is liable to face legal action under Indian Penal Code (IPC) for hurting religious sentiments. Shiv Sena leader Rajan Vichare was caught on a video trying to force-feed a Muslim caterer, Arshad Zubair, when the food served in Maharashtra Sadan was not up to his standards. Meanwhile, Former SP leader Shahid Siddiqui slammed the state government of Maharashtra which has said it will respond on this issue after ascertaining full facts. Dharamsala, July 22 (ANI): Tibetan spiritual leader, His Holiness the Dalai Lama, has said that the ongoing crisis in Israel and Gaza is very sad and totally opposite to what their religion promotes. Israeli forces killed 10 Palestinian militants who slipped across the border from Gaza through hidden tunnels on Monday, the military said, as the death toll from the two-week conflict passed 500 amid growing international calls for an end.
