New Delhi, May 20 (ANI): Senior BJP leader LK Advani on Tuesday proposed the name of Narendra Modi for leader of BJP parliamentary party, paving the way for him to be the Prime Minister. Murli Manohar Joshi, Venkaiah Naidu, Nitin Gadkari seconded the name of Modi as the leader of the parliamentary party. Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley, Karia Munda, Gopinath Munde, Ravishankar Prasad, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi also seconded Advani's proposal. Rajnath Singh declared Modi elected as BJP parliamentary party leader. Newly elected BJP MPs gave standing ovation to Modi. May 20, 2014
