BSE closes points 2.08 up on March 19

New Delhi, March 19 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 2.08 points up to stand at 21,834.69. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 7.40 points up to stand at 6,524.05. Petronet LNG and TV18 Broadcast were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 5.44% and 4.55% along with Tata Steel and Hindalco Industries with an increase of 4.48% and 4.27% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include TCS and Indian Oil Corp with a decrease of 3.94% and 3.48% along with ONGC and Rural Electrification Corporation Ltd with a decrease of 3.00% and 2.94% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is up 5.35 points at 12,791.32 while the banking sector is up 82.85 points at 13,913.66 and the realty sector is down 6.29 points at 1,374.24. One killed, many feared trapped in Mumbai building collapse

Mumbai, March 14 (ANI): One person was killed and four others suffered minor injuries after a 'highly dilapidated' seven-story building collapsed in Yashwant Nagar area of Mumbai's Santa Cruz on Friday. A resident of the area said that the local municipal corporation had deemed the building unsafe for living and had given several eviction notices to the residents.
