Remo Fernandes joins Aam Aadmi Party

Goa / Kolkata, Dec 31 (ANI): Bollywood singer Remo Fernandes has joined the Aam Aadmi Party in an endeavour to connect with its fight against graft. Fernandes, who is also a famed musician from coastal Goa, said that his purpose to join AAP was not to contest the parliamentary elections. Fernandes said joining the party was like reliving the revolution during freedom struggle of India. Drawing comparison with the erstwhile colonial rule in India, Fernandes said that he did not feel like joining any other political party, therefore he joined AAP, which is fighting against corruption and communalism. New Delhi, Dec 22 (ANI): The Bangladesh Liberation War or East Pakistan’s struggle for freedom broke out in 1971, when the Pakistani Army launched a military operation called Operation Searchlight against the Bengali civilians. Mrityunjay Devvrat, writer and director of the film 'The Bastard Child' was pulled into the subject because of the intense stories it brought from the past and the secrecy maintained on the subject till the present time. The film features Farooq Sheikh, Pavan Malhotra, Raima Sen and Victor Banerjee.
