Gopinath Munde dies in road accident, Delhi Police begins probe

New Delhi, June 03 (ANI): Senior BJP leader and Union Rural Development Minister Gopinath Munde died in a road accident in Delhi's Moti Bagh area on Tuesday morning. He was first admitted to the Safdarjung Hospital when he met with the accident and was then shifted to the AIIMS trauma centre where he was declared dead. Joint Commissioner of Police, New Delhi range Mukesh Kumar Meena said that the driver of the Indica car which hit Munde's vehicle has been arrested. Arvind Kejriwal walks out of jail

New Delhi, May 28 (ANI): Aam Aadmi Party chief, Arvind Kejriwal, was released on Tuesday after he submitted personal bail bond in the defamation case, filed by BJP leader Nitin Gadkari. Gadkari, had filed a defamation case on February 18, after Kejriwal called him as one of the most corrupt leaders in his list of 'India's most corrupt'. AAP leader, Harvinder Singh Phoolka, said the court issued a notice and asked Kejriwal to come out of jail, which he agreed and signed the personal bond till July 31. Kejriwal agrees to furnish personal bond, his petition to be heard on 31st Jul

New Delhi, May 27 (ANI): Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday has agreed to furnish the personal bond as suggested by the Court in the hearing regarding Nitin Gadkari’s defamation case. Kejriwal’s lawyer Prashant Bhushan stated that the High Court has agreed to hear his petition on 31st July and in the mean time proposed him to furnish the bond and get released from jail. He also said that Kejriwal agreed to furnish the bond pending the final outcome of the case. Meanwhile, Gadkari’s lawyer Pinky Anand said that Kejriwal did not intend to stay in jail and had to furnish the bond as he had no choice. She added that the Court will hear his petition on July 31.
