New Delhi, Oct 01 (ANI): Politicos on Wednesday expressed profound grief over the train accident near Gorakhpur. At least 14 people have died and 45 have been left seriously injured, after the Krishak Express hit the Lucknow-Barauni Express near Gorakhpur late on Tuesday night. Union Railway Minister DV Sadananda Gowda announced an ex gratia of Rs 2 lakh each to the next of kin of those who died in the tragedy, Rs 1 lakh each to those grievously injured and Rs 20,000 each to those who sustained less serious injuries. New Delhi, Oct 1 (ANI): Two speeding passenger trains collided near Gorakhpur, killing 14 people and injuring 45 others late Tuesday night. Union Railway Minister DV Sadananda Gowda, meanwhile, expressed profound grief over the loss of innocent lives in the accident and announced compensation for the victims. Palamu, Sep 28 (ANI): At least 5 people, including one woman and a child, were killed and several others injured when a bus caught fire after a high voltage electricity wire fell on it in Jharkhand on Sunday. The accident occurred in Palamu district, around 160 kilometre of state capital Ranchi, when a hanging high voltage electricity wire caressed the speeding bus, leading to fire in the bus. Dharamshala, Sept 24 (ANI): At least 23 people were killed and many injured when an overloaded private bus fell into Bhakra Nangal Dam's Gobind Sagar Reservoir in Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday.
