Youths beat teenager unconscious with a chair whilst robbing him

CCTV footage has been released of a violent attack on a teenager as he was walking along Streatham High Road on 30 April. The 19-year-old victim was knocked unconscious by approximately 10 people, and had his phone and a small amount of cash stolen. Massive 14ft cattle-eating crocodile caught by Australian police

Australian police captured a 4.33m crocodile after it was taking cattle in the Northern Territory. Police and rangers trapped the crocodile in a waterhole and then snared its jaw shut. Opposition supporters celebrate ahead of official presidential results in Gabon

Supporters of Gabon opposition candidate Jean Ping celebrated in the Gabon capital, Liberville, after initial results from the countries presidential election showed him in the lead. Ping claimed victory over current President Ali Bongo, who has also said he expected to emerge victorious.
