No decision yet on govt formation in Delhi: Nitin Gadkari

New Delhi, June 18 (ANI): Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari on Wednesday indicated that there was no decision taken on forming a BJP-led Government in Delhi in his meeting with BJP MLAs at his residence. There were reports claiming that several MLAs from the Congress and the AAP have been receiving phone calls, financial incentives in order to join BJP to form the government in Delhi. BJP was said to form government without going for fresh elections. The Delhi Legislative Assembly is in suspended animation and President's rule had been imposed in the national capital owing to AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal's resignation as CM after a 49-day long rule. E-Rickshaws get Govt's nod in Delhi

New Delhi, June 17 (ANI): Addressing a rally of e-rickshaw owners and drivers at the Ramlila Maidan in the national capital, union transport minister Nitin Gadkari on Tuesday announced that the Delhi government won't ban the e-rickshaws, bringing relief to at least 2 lakh rickshaw drivers. Nitin Gadkari brings tree plantation under MGNREGA

New Delhi, June 13 (ANI): Rural Development Minister Nitin Gadkari on Friday brought tree plantation along the roads under employment guarantee scheme to combat environment challenges and provide jobs to unemployed youths. The Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Gurantee Act (MGNREGA) mandates the government to provide at least 100 days of job to rural youths. Gadkari said three million youths would get jobs if trees were planted along roads across the country. New Delhi, June 12 (ANI): Congress workers on Thursday carried out protest against the ongoing electricity crisis in Delhi. The protest comes a day after Congress MLA Jai Kishan's hunger strike against the prolonged crisis.
