VHP protest outside Pakistan embassy over hardships faced by Hindus in Pak

New Delhi, Aug 14 (ANI): Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) on Thursday staged a protest outside Pakistan embassy in New Delhi against the hardships faced by the Hindu community in the neighbouring country. Leaders of VHP claimed that Hindu community living in Pakistan was being treated inhumanly and demanded protection of human rights violations. Protesters shouted anti-Pakistan slogans and demanded justice for the Hindus living there. Protesters were accompanied by the Hindus who have fled from Pakistan after facing the torture from the natives there. VHP Joint General Secretary Swami Vigyanand said August 14 was being marked worldwide as a day to protest against the human rights violations on Pakistani Hindus. Aug 14, 2014

AAP begins door-to-door campaign to demand fresh elections in Delhi

New Delhi, Aug 13 (ANI): Members of Aam Aadmi party launched a door-to-door signature campaign on Wednesday asking people to sign a petition and join hands with the party in demand of re-elections in Delhi. Delhi has been under President_s rule since February when Chief of AAP, Arvind Kejriwal, resigned from the post of chief minister after his 49-day-old government failed to table its Lokpal Bill in the assembly. The assembly has been under suspended animation ever since and no party has staked a claim to form the government. The campaign was initiated from the Patparganj assembly constituency in Delhi by AAP leaders, Manish Sisodia and Ashutosh in national capital, New Delhi. However, Leader of AAP, Manish Sisodia said that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is not responding to the issues of price rise and corruption in Delhi. The signature campaign will be held for 15 days. BJP National Council meet to facilitate PM Modi & partys big win

Politicos react as Rahul Gandhi says only one man's voice counts in India

New Delhi, Aug 6 (ANI): Politicos on Wednesday reacted over Congress Vice-President, Rahul Gandhi, who on Wednesday slammed Speaker of the lower house of parliament, Sumitra Mahajan, and accused her of partial behaviour towards the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Gandhi rushed to the well of the House with his party members and demanded a debate on anti-communal violence bill. He said they were not being allowed to hold a discussion and speak in the parliament. Mahajan had turned down Congress party's request for discussion. As the opposition parties created a ruckus over communal situation in the country, the lower house was adjourned.
