Delhi police reaches Mathura to trace accused in Delhi rape case

New Delhi/ Mathura, Dec 07 (ANI): Mathura SSP Manjhil Saini on Sunday said that Delhi police has reached Mathura city of Uttar Pradesh in order to trace Delhi rape accused. Saini said that since the accused is native of Mathura the Delhi police are trying to get the details in the case. Meanwhile, All India Students Association staged protest against Delhi police outside the police headquarters. The protesters also demanded cancellation of the license of the Uber cab services. The angry protesters shouted slogans against police and the political parties for not ensuring safety of women on Delhi streets. Coimbatore, Dec 6 (ANI): The outbreak of bird flu in neighbouring Kerala caused a setback to the poultry industry of Tamil Nadu. Thousands of dead ducks infected by a highly contagious bird flu virus were found in Kerala, prompting the authorities to cull more than 200,000 birds. Kerala had banned the movement of the chickens from Tamil Nadu due to bird flu threat. President of Broiler Chicken Traders Association of Coimbatore, Kandaswamy said that their chicken stock has accumulated. United States, Dec 06 (ANI): Dozens of protesters took to the streets of Washington DC in yet another day of demonstrations against police violence after grand juries in New York and Missouri decided not to indict police officers in the deaths of unarmed Black men. The protesters gathered and staged a symbolic "die in", shouting "I can't breathe," a phrase Eric Garner shouted when he was placed in a chokehold by a New York police officer. Demonstrators shouted "If I can't breathe. You can't breathe." Since Wednesday, when a New York grand jury cleared white police officer Daniel Pantaleo in case of chokehold death of Garner, the city has seen two nights of angry but largely peaceful demonstrations.
