New Delhi, Nov 20 (ANI): With Delhi assembly polls coming closer, Congress released its election manifesto on Wednesday which focuses on growth, development, education for the girls under Ladli Scheme. The party claimed that under its rule Delhi will grow faster. Releasing the manifesto, Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit said that double-decker flyovers will be built to ease the traffic situation. Chennai, Nov 09 (ANI): Union Finance Minister, P Chidambaram, has warned tax defaulters of service tax and urged the non-filers to take advantage of the scheme that waives interest and other penalties. The Finance Minister was speaking at an interactive session on Voluntary Compliance Encouragement Scheme (VCES) - 2013 in Chennai on Saturday and called on non-payers to come clean before December 31, 2013. Under VCES - 2013, an Indian government amnesty scheme, one is offered a chance to make onetime payment of service tax dues for the period of October 1, 2007 to December 31, 2012, without interest and penalty. New Delhi, Oct 31(ANI): In a bold move, Karnataka government has launched a scheme that from November 1, Muslim brides from families with annual income less than Rs 1.5 lakh can claim financial support of Rs 50,000 either in cash, gold or house hold articles from the state government. Reacting to this BJP leader Kirti Azad said that everyone who need help should get privilege when it comes to financial and social help and vote bank politics should not be done with it. The project launched by the Department of Minority Welfare will give the bride a voice and set aside an initial sum of Rs 10 crore with the aim of supporting atleast 2,000 marriages by the end of this financial year.
