Allahabad HC orders AMU to allow undergraduate girls in central library

Allahabad, Nov 14 (ANI): The Allahabad High Court on Friday ordered the Aligarh Muslim University to allow undergraduate women students in Maulana Azad Library, the university's central library. The court has also sought a reply from the varsity's Vice Chancellor Zameeruddin Shah who had recently stirred a hornet's nest by not allowing girls into the main library saying that they would attract boys. Two militants shot dead in Kashmir

Kulgam, Nov 14 (ANI): Security forces gunned down two militants after a prolonged encounter in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday morning. Acting on a tip-off, security forces launched a search operation at Chounigam village in Kulgam district to nab militants hiding in a house on Thursday evening. The militants opened fire upon the approaching soldiers, who retaliated triggering a gunfight. Later, the bodies of the militants were recovered from the house.
