New Delhi, Feb 28 (ANI): Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley presented the General Budget for 2015-16 in the Lok Sabha on Saturday. Jaitley said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government works round the clock. He said that the NDA government is working towards increasing the GDP and rising India's economy internationally. He talked about three achievements of the government- Swachh Bharat, Jan Dhan Yojana and transparent auction of coal blocks. Jaitley also talked about the welfare of rural population by providing house, basic facilities of education and health to the citizens. Suresh Prabhu to present Rail Budget 2015-16 in Parliament

New Delhi, Feb 26 (ANI): Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu will be presenting the Railway Budget for 2015-16 in the Parliament on Thursday. Prabhu may lay the roadmap for attracting private investment in railways in a bid to raise more funds for project completions and infrastructure expansion. This will be Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA Government's first railway budget. Modi’s ‘Make in India’ and ‘Swachh Bharat’ initiatives may also be given prime importance. President Mukherjee addresses Budget Session in Lok Sabha

New Delhi, Feb 23 (ANI): President Pranab Mukherjee addressed the Parliament as the Budget Session in Lok Sabha began on Monday. Mukherjee said 'Sab ka Saath, Sab ka Vikas' is the government's fundamental view. He appealed to all the Members of the Parliament to spend 50 percent of MPLAD fund on the 'Swachh Bharat' mission. The Budget Session contains 44 items of financial, legislative and non-legislative business. The first part of the Budget Session will continue till March 20 while the second part will commence after a month-long break from April 20 and conclude on May 8.
