New Delhi/ Ahmedabad, March 05 (ANI): As doctor’s strike in Uttar Pradesh intensified on Wednesday, political parties condemned the same and called it ‘unfortunate’. BJP leader Prakash Javadekar said that the state government should take action and assure doctors of all possible security to them. JD (U) leader Ali Anwar also condemned the SP government in the state and said that they should look at the demands of the doctors to solve the issue as soon as possible. UP Health Minister appeals to doctors to end their strike, says investigation underway

Lucknow, Mar 4 (ANI): Speaking over strike by junior doctors in UP after which medical services remained paralyzed on the fourth day on Tuesday, state Health Minister Ahmad Hasan appealed the doctors to end their strike and said that the investigations in the matter are underway. He said that the doctor’s strike is unfortunate and that many people died due to lack of medical facilities and it is against medical ethics. Bhubaneswar, Feb 22 (ANI): Odisha's law, tourism and culture minister Maheshwar Mohanty, was injured when two unidentified men opened fire at him near his house in Puri. Mohanty, 59, was driving a scooty back home from a function when two miscreants, who were apparently following him on a two-wheeled vehicle, opened fire at him in a narrow lane near Amala Club in the heart of the town at around 8pm on Friday, sources said. The minister sustained a bullet injury on his left arm and suffered head injuries after he fell from the scooty on being fired at.
